The Speaker

- Anya Dillard, Red Table Talk ‘22 (cut scene)

“So often we forget just how much power our presence holds. As black people, it’s our job to remind each other of that; to remind each other of the love we should be showing ourselves every single day. The second that we realize that our power lies in love, in unity, … no level of hatred will ever be able to take that away.”

From Advocacy, to Storytelling, and Education

When she isn’t organizing, giving back to communities in need, or creating content to amplify POC representation, Anya works as a youth mentor and public speaker. She has served as a keynote speaker on dozens of political forums including The Clinton Foundation’s Clinton Global Initiative University event (hosted in partnership with Howard University). She has also spoken at schools all over the world — from middle schools in California and New York to universities all the way in the UK — teaching other young people how to pursue activism and become leaders in their own life paths.
